We've been closely monitoring all reports concerning the Coronavirus. In light of confirmed cases around the country and within our city, we are taking the following precautions to mitigate the spread of germs and create a safe and healthy environment for us all to gather and worship. We will have worship on Sunday at 8am and at 10:45am. In addition, our Afternoon Basketball game is still scheduled beginning at 3:30pm
Listed below is the protocol for Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church until further notice
1. If you are feeling sick
If you are coughing, have fever, congestion, vomiting or are generally unwell, STAY HOME! We love you and are praying for you. If you have immune system deficiencies or flu-like and similar symptoms, we strongly encourage you stay at home and watch our ive service via FACEBOOK streaming.
Macedonia is a welcoming congregation. However, until this crisis concludes, we ask that you replace all hugs and handshakes with smiles, waves or fist bumps. We have hand sanitizer stations located throughout the facility; we encourage you to use them. For the next few Sundays, we will not have saintly fellowship or hold hands during altar prayer.
We strongly recommend that each of you download the Givelify app on your phone or tablet and find Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Spartanburg SC. It is safe and convenient and can be used on a recurring basis. It is recommended that until the crisis concludes that our Trustee use gloves to count money to limit exposure to germs (finance office).
4. Personal Cleanliness
Please wash your hands often. Also, please remember to cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. You may use tissue or your sleeve. You should also avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
5. Visitation of Sick and Shut In Members
Until the crisis concludes, we recommend that Deacons and Deaconess limit their care to phone calls and mailers. Visiting members who are already in compromised health conditions may increase their chances of infection. We love you and we are praying for you. We are concerned about your health and recovery.
